These Terms govern your use of the Stride mobile application and the stride.example website, operated by Yevhen Stryzh (individual, Ukraine). By using the app you agree to these Terms.
Stride is an activity tracker: it records runs, walks and rides, counts steps and shows your progress against goals you set. The app works entirely offline on your device; no account is required or offered.
Because all data lives only on your phone, you are in full control of it — and also responsible for it: if you delete the app or lose the device without your own backup, the data cannot be recovered by us.
Stride is a wellness tool, not a medical device. Distances, paces and step counts come from your phone's GPS and motion sensors and carry the usual accuracy limits of those sensors. Do not use Stride to make medical decisions; consult a professional for health advice.
You are responsible for your own safety while exercising. Pay attention to traffic and surroundings; do not interact with the screen while riding.
Stride is currently a paid-nothing, account-nothing app: it is offered free of charge, with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or misrepresent the app. That is the whole list.
We may update, add or remove features. Because the app is fully local, updates never reach into your existing data without an in-app notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the app is provided "as is" without warranties; we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
